The development of small and medium enterprises has taken place in the form of different industrial clusters. There are, in all 83 industrial clusters for different industry groups have been identified in the state, developed at a number of different locations. The approach of cluster-based development has helped in improving cost competitiveness of the industries by way of creating common facilities, developing market centres and brand names, promotion of skill.
